Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about school life at BUSS.
School hours are from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for Baby School and Pre-School, and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for Primary School. Early drop-off is available from 7:30 AM, and after-school care is available until 5:00 PM.
Please call the school office by 8:30 AM on the day of absence. You can also send an email or note through the school diary. For extended absences due to illness, a medical certificate may be required.
Homework is assigned to reinforce classroom learning. Baby School and Pre-School students receive minimal homework, while Primary students have daily assignments. We encourage parents to support but not complete homework for their children.
You can communicate through the school diary, email, or schedule a meeting. We also have regular parent-teacher conferences and an open-door policy for urgent matters. Please avoid discussing sensitive issues during morning drop-off.
We offer various clubs including music, art, dance, sports, and coding. Activities vary by age group and term. Sign-up information is sent home at the beginning of each term. Some activities may have additional fees.
We use positive discipline approaches, focusing on teaching appropriate behavior rather than punishment. We work with children to understand the consequences of their actions and help them develop self-discipline and respect for others.
